Good views over surrounding countryside, short, safe walk to life guarded beach. Tap and toilet hook up possible, chemical waste disposal point. Under cover storage area available and ample car parking space.
Great area for cycling, walking, sailing possible on the Broads 25 minutes drive away. Swimming pool at North Walsham, 5 miles, orienteering at Bacton Woods 4 miles.
Lots of opportunities for Duke of Edinburgh project work. Entertainment 5 miles at Cromer.
Thoroughly recommended by 2nd Amersham Common Scouts, who camped here in Summer 2010.

The Centre is a wonderful location for young people to come and learn about the environment, develop their social skills, life skills and challenge themselves.

Girlguiding logoGreat Hautbois House is a beautiful 19th century house set in over 28 acres of grounds near Norwich. With a peaceful riverside setting, it has a wealth of natural attractions as well as excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The house offers comfortable accommodation, with a home-made catering service. It is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and is only a short distance from the coast.
